About The Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Account Manager to join our Credit Limits team in Adelaide.

This opportunity has become available due to an internal transfer, highlighting the career development opportunities available at NCI.

In this role, you'll manage your own portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted point of contact and advocate with insurers. You'll work closely with clients, underwriters, and colleagues to ensure credit limit requests are progressed efficiently and achieve the best possible outcomes.

You will be responsible for building strong stakeholder relationships, managing competing priorities, and delivering a high standard of client service in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

- Managing a portfolio of clients and their credit limit requests.
- Liaising with insurers on behalf of clients.
- Negotiating credit limit outcomes and advocating for client needs.
- Providing timely updates and clear communication to clients.
- Following up outstanding requests and ensuring matters progress efficiently.
- Preparing and sending weekly client updates.
- Identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Maintaining accurate records and data within internal systems.
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to team success.

You don't need to have experience in trade credit insurance. If you can demonstrate that you are customer-focussed, can work in a fast paced environment, use systems effectively and talk confidently to customers then we will teach you the rest! Location / Hours This is a permanent full-time position based in our Adelaide CBD office. We are looking for someone who can work from 9.30am - 6pm to support our WA & Asian based clients. While most client interactions occur via phone and email, there may be occasional face-to-face meetings, networking events, and an interstate team visit each year.
