ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Accounts Officer - Aligned Leisure (12-month parental leave contract) provides accounts payable and financial administration support to Aligned Leisure, a subsidiary of Richmond Football Club. The role is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments and financial transactions, while maintaining accurate financial records through reconciliations and adherence to internal procedures, supporting compliance and effective accounts payable administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accounts Payable Administration: Process creditor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, maintain the accounts payable inbox, prepare weekly creditor and umpire payments, and process Richmond Football Club internal charges.
2. Reconciliations & Financial Processing: Complete monthly creditor statement reconciliations, reconcile bank payments against creditors, maintain direct debit reconciliations, and ensure the accurate processing of direct debit payments.
3. Credit Card Administration: Review, reconcile and process staff and corporate credit card statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
4. Revenue & Financial Records: Receipt Richmond Football Club revenue and maintain accurate financial records through effective administration and reconciliation processes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

1. Experience in an accounts payable or similar finance administration role is preferred.
2. Strong computer skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
3. Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills,



with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
5. Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team, with a proactive and enthusiastic approach.
6. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
