A job to be proud of:
You will ensure that data for creditors, accounts payable invoices and standing information is accurately collated, recorded and entered on a daily basis. This is a part-time, permanent opportunity based at our Head Office in Belmont working 18.75 hours a week basis.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure that data for creditors is accurately recorded and updated daily
- Reconcile creditor statements on a monthly basis
- Ensure prompt payment of organisations creditors
- Assist with the preparation of credit applications for the organisation
- Maintain accurate petty cash records
- Ensure that the correct process is followed for cash floats
- Assist with month end processes to ensure a timely and accurate month end close
- Managing queries both internally and externally in a timely manner
What you’ll need:
- At least 2 years Accounts Payable experience in a corporate setting (Desirable)
- Knowledge of GST and Tax Invoice requirements
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy for data entry
- Previous experience with Accounting Software (Desirable Microsoft Dynamics GP or equivalent)
