What You'll Be Doing
As Administration Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients, staff and visitors accessing Community Health services across the Eyre and Far North Region.
Your responsibilities will include
- Delivering high quality, confidential reception and administrative support to a diverse community health client base
- Managing appointments, correspondence, data entry and records in line with SA Health confidentiality and information security requirements
- Supporting clinical and allied health staff with clerical tasks to keep services running smoothly
- Maintaining accurate client records using Microsoft Office and health-specific software systems
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support in a customer-facing environment
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and confident, accurate data entry skills
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and with varying needs, including in challenging situations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
- Sound understanding of confidentiality obligations and information security practices, consistent with SA Health policy
- Knowledge of, or genuine interest in, primary health care and community health principles
