Aeroco is seeking experienced Aerodrome Reporting Officers / Works Safety Officers to join our team working on projects Australia wide on airside operations and airport construction works projects. The ARO/WSO will be engaged in constant communication with Air Traffic Control, construction personnel and local airport operators.
- A clear and current understanding of the MOS139 is essential for this role.
We are offering a competitive hourly rate on upcoming roles for multiple projects in Queensland, South Australia & Western Australia on a FIFO family friendly roster.
Company uniform/PPE, vehicle and accommodation provided.
To be eligible for the role, you must hold the following qualifications:
- ARO/WSO Certificate (current)
- CASA Radio Operators Certificate (AROC)
- Experience conducting Airside Works Safety Officer / Contractor Escort duties (Essential)
- Construction Induction White Card
- Aviation Security ID Card - ASIC (can be arranged)
- Defence Common Access Card - DCAC (can be arranged)
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Experienced in airside operations and proficient in Air Traffic Control procedures/communications (Essential)
Personal qualities required:
- A professional and solution-based approach to airport works safety.
- Have at least 2 years experience as an Aviation Reporting Officer or Aviation Works Safety Officer.
- A desire to learn and a passion for aviation safety.
- A professional individual who is able to work with a variety of people from various cultural backgrounds.
- Is confident in operating in a quick paced and highly procedural airport environment.
- Flexible approach to working arrangement and shifts as per the operational requirements.
