As the AI Automation Solution Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how AI and automation transform Optus operations. Working across our OSS environment, you will design and deliver secure, scalable, and reusable AI-powered solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and customer outcomes. What You’ll Do

- Lead the discovery, design, and delivery of AI-enabled automation solutions that improve operational workflows, intelligence, and service outcomes across OSS domains.
- Translate business and operational requirements into scalable solutions using AI technologies, workflow orchestration, APIs, agentic workflows, and reusable automation services.
- Partner with architecture, engineering, security, data, operations, and vendor teams to drive successful delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement of AI automation capabilities.
- Establish and champion engineering best practices including test-driven development, responsible AI principles, observability, governance, and operational readiness.

What You Bring

- Experience leading technology, automation, software engineering, OSS, integration, or AI-driven solution delivery initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong technical expertise across APIs, workflow orchestration, cloud-based architectures, CI/CD practices, and modern software engineering methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with AI technologies including LLM integrations, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and responsible AI frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams, influence senior leaders,



and translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
