Role details The Mental Health Inpatient Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Allied Health Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

About The Team The Mental Health Inpatient Unit provides care to people who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness. If a person is admitted to an acute inpatient unit, it is often because their mental illness is not manageable in a less restrictive setting, such as community-based support.



Acute inpatient treatment services provide care to individuals who are experiencing an acute episode of serious mental illness including Depression, Schizophrenia, Schizo-affective disorder, Bipolar disorder and Personality disorder.
