Where you'll be working

You’ll be welcomed into a warm and collaborative multidisciplinary team of allied health and nursing professionals, led by an experienced Service Manager. The service delivers Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation programs across Belmont, Toronto, Raymond Terrace, Nelson Bay, and Newcastle, with the Newcastle Health Centre as the home base.

The team culture is friendly, open, and keen to share knowledge. You’ll be surrounded by Allied Health colleagues and a fellow physiotherapist who like to share ideas and come together to support patient centred care.

With a blend of individual and group education and exercise programs there’s plenty of opportunity to be creative and flexible in how you engage with clients with acute and/ or chronic cardiac and pulmonary conditions The Opportunity

Alongside delivering high quality assessments and interventions, you’ll also use your project planning skills to help establish the way our CPRU programs run across the Greater Newcastle Community Services. Your focus will be supporting clients with acute and / or chronic cardiac and respiratory conditions with a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan.

To achieve better health outcomes, this role is in a unique position to be able to navigate and provide clients up to the most appropriate treatment plan to ensure care is patient centred and appropriate. This is perfect for someone genuinely passionate about cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. You’ll deliver care across individual sessions, group programs, home visits, and Virtual Healthcare.
