Avive Clinic Brisbane is growing, and we’re looking for experienced allied health clinicians to join our multidisciplinary team, working across our inpatient and day programs.
Group facilitation will be a key part of the role, alongside broader allied health responsibilities. We’re particularly interested in clinicians who have experience facilitating addiction-specific and dual diagnosis programs, while broader mental health group facilitation experience will also be highly regarded.

About the role
As an Allied Health Clinician, you’ll provide therapeutic support to patients across our inpatient and day programs, working collaboratively with the broader clinical team to support recovery and positive patient outcomes.
Your role will include
- Facilitating evidence-based groups across mental health, addictions, dual diagnosis, trauma and wellbeing
- Providing discipline-specific allied health assessment and therapeutic interventions
- Contributing to treatment planning, clinical discussions and documentation
- Working collaboratively with psychiatrists, nursing and allied health colleagues
- Contributing to program development and continuous improvement
About you
We’re looking for a registered or credentialled Psychologists, Social Workers or Occupational Therapists with mental health experience and confidence working therapeutically with individuals and groups. Highly desirable: experience facilitating addictions, substance use and/or dual diagnosis groups, including working with people experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns.
You’ll also bring
- Experience working within mental health services
- Strong therapeutic, communication and group facilitation skills
- A collaborative, trauma-informed and person-centred approach
- Current qualified registration and/or relevant credentials
- National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
