Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Antenatal Clinic Midwives to join the Antenatal Clinic Team.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.

Services are provided through our five main campuses:

Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.

About the Role:

The Antenatal Clinic midwife will work in a Team Model of Care with set days of work according to the team allocation each position is 0.4EFT.



This is a role that requires the antenatal clinic midwife to have a proficient scope of clinical knowledge to facilitate the provision of high quality, evidence-based antenatal care that is woman centred. You will join a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team who partner to provide the best possible care to more than 3200 clients per year at both the Epping and Craigieburn sites.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Proficient scope of antenatal clinical knowledge
- Ability to perform through assessments, develop comprehensive plans
- Foster open communication empowering women to make informed decisions about her care
- Promote a supportive, positive pregnancy journey
- Possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal
