We are an established Adelaide public practice acting for privately owned business groups across SA. Family groups, trading companies, trusts, SMSFs, and the people behind them.

We are fifteen years old and most of the way through rebuilding how the practice works: electronic workpapers, documented procedures, upfront pricing, and a responsible investment in automation and AI tooling. That is not a line in an ad.

The role

n

You will own a portfolio of client groups end to end — plan the job, prepare the work, resolve the technical issues, and sit in the meeting where the

n

That means:

n

n
- Financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs
n
- BAS and IAS
n
- Division 7A, trust distributions and resolutions,
n
- CGT matters
n
- Year-end tax planning and estimates
n
- Direct client contact — queries, meetings, and the conversations that go beyond compliance
n

n

The split between compliance and advisory is roughly 80/20 now and moving.

n

What we are looking for

n

n
- CA or CPA, completed or well underway
n
- At least five years in accounting, with three or more in Australian public practice
n
- Hands‐on Australian tax compliance experience across entity types
n
- Comfortable running your own client groups with light review
n

n

Helpful, not essential

n

n
- Xero and Xero Practice Manager / Xero Tax — this is our stack
n
- Electronic workpapers
n
- BGL or Simple Fund 360
n
- Experience using AI tools in a professional workflow
n
