About the Role

n

The Business Development Consultant (AAC) plays a key role in expanding NovitaTech's Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and alternate access technology portfolio across disability, health, agedcareand education markets.

n

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships with customers, clinicians,educatorsand sector partners, helping them identify appropriate assistive technology solutions to support communication and participation outcomes. While you will provide expert product and technical guidance, you will work closely with Novita's Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists when clinical assessment, prescription and co-consultation arerequired.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional with a passion for assistive technology, relationship building and improving outcomes for people living with disability.

In this role you will:

n





Drive sales growth and revenue across AAC and alternate access assistive technology solutions

n

Develop andmaintainstrong business relationships within disability, health, agedcareand education sectors

n

Identifynew business opportunities, referralpathwaysand strategic partnerships

n

Provide expert advice and demonstrations on AAC devices,softwareand alternate access technologies

n

Support customers, families,cliniciansand organisations to understand available technology solutions and funding pathways

n

Partner with Novita's Speech Pathologists, OccupationalTherapistsand clinical teams tofacilitateassessment,prescriptionand implementation ofappropriate solutions

n

Represent NovitaTech at industry events,conferencesand networking opportunities

n

Desired Skills and Experience

n

Knowledge,skillsand experience

n

Demonstrated experience achieving sales, businessdevelopmentor growth targets

n

Experience building and managing customer and stakeholder relationships across healthcare, disability, education, agedcareor related sectors

n

Robust knowledge of, or genuine interest in, AAC, assistive technology, rehabilitationtechnologyor related fields

n

Experience working with clinicians or subject matter experts, procurementteamsand government-funded services

n

Experience working with AAC, assistive technology, disability supports, allied health, educationtechnologyor rehabilitation products (desirable)

n

Ability to confidently present,demonstrateand explain technical products and solutions to a range of audiences

n

Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling skills

n

Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building capabilities

n

Ability to work collaboratively with clinical professionals,suppliersand support teams

n





Current driver's licence and willingness to travel asrequired

n

Education and Qualifications

n

Understanding of the NDIS, aged care,educationand hospital funding environments

n

Qualifications in business, health, disability, education, allied health, rehabilitation, assistivetechnologyor related fields are highly regarded but not essential. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered
