Retail Customer Service Assistant – Part Time

Watsonia Licensed Post Office is looking for a friendly, energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Part-Time Retail Customer Service Assistant.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service and can represent our business in a friendly and professional manner.

About the Role

This is a varied customer service role where no two days are quite the same. Your duties will include:

- Providing friendly and helpful customer service
- Processing Australia Post sales and service transactions
- Handling cash, EFTPOS and other payment transactions
- Assisting customers with mail and parcel lodgements
- Processing Bank@Post banking transactions
- Assisting with identity services, including passport applications
- Promoting Australia Post products and services
- General retail, merchandising and day-to-day Post Office duties

Previous retail, customer service or banking experience would be highly regarded. Australia Post experience would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be provided. Hours: 27 hours per week

Wednesday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Saturday: 9:00am – 12:00pm

There may also be opportunities for additional hours from time to time.

Pay: $26.63 – $35.18 per hour
