THE ROLE

You'll run both sides of the desk: managing and placing blue-collar candidates (forklift drivers, production operators, pick packers, drivers) and hunting down recent business, building relationships with companies who need great people fast. One day you're on the phone talking a candidate through their first shift, the next you're pitching a new client on why Synergy should be their go-to labour partner. It's fast-paced, it's a grind some days and a win other days, and it will never be boring.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Whether you're coming from hospitality or already have 1-2 years in recruitment, we'll build on what you've got and train you the rest of the way.



What you do need:

- A background in hospitality, another people-facing high-pressure environment, or 1-2 years in recruitment
- Genuine personality, you can talk to anyone and mean it
- A real sense of urgency; you don't let things sit
- The ability to grind through a tough day and come back swinging the next
- Comfortable with computers, you'll be working across multiple systems day to day
- Basic math skills, enough to get your head around GP (gross profit) and quoting (full training provided if this is new to you)
- Resilience, this role has highs and lows, and we want someone who rides both without losing momentum
- A driver's license and reliable vehicle to visit clients
