nThe Opportunityn
nWe are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Field Engineer (ANZSCO 313 212) to join our growing engineering team. This role involves planning, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications infrastructure while ensuring high-quality project delivery and compliance with Australian industry standards. The duties align with the ANZSCO occupation description for Telecommunications Field Engineer.n

nKey Responsibilitiesn
n•Install, commission and maintain telecommunications network infrastructure.n
n•Perform testing, fault diagnosis and performance optimisation of telecommunications equipment.n
n•Configure and integrate telecommunications systems with IP networks and enterprise infrastructure.n
n•Conduct fibre optic testing, splicing and commissioning.n
n•Support wireless, microwave and radio communication systems.n




n•Prepare technical documentation, reports and as-built records.n
n•Liaise with customers, contractors and project stakeholders.n
n•Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and telecommunications standards.n
n•Provide technical support during network upgrades and deployments.n
n•Participate in field surveys, site inspections and commissioning activities.n
n
nEssential Skills & Experiencen
n•Diploma, Advanced Diploma or higher qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, Networking or related Engineering discipline.n
n•Experience with telecommunications field engineering activities.n
n•Knowledge of fibre optic, Ethernet, IP networking and wireless technologies.n
n•Experience with telecommunications testing equipment.n
n•Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.n
n•Excellent communication and documentation skills.n
n•Current Australian Driver Licence.n
n•Ability to travel to project sites when required.n
n
nDesirablen
n•Experience with NBN, Telstra or carrier infrastructure projects.n
n•Experience in wireless, microwave or mobile network deployments.n
n•First Aid, Working at Heights, EWP, White Card or other industry certifications.n
n•Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper or similar networking platforms.n
