Bookkeeper - Own Your Own Client Portfolio | Public Practice | Melbourne South East | $85k + Super

I'm working with a growing Public Practice firm in Melbourne's South East looking to add a Bookkeeper to their larger, close-knit bookkeeping team.

You'll take ownership of your own portfolio of 20-30 clients

- managing the relationships and handling the day-to-day bookkeeping. The work is wide-ranging, with no two clients exactly the same, in a busy, fast-paced environment where the team genuinely works well together.

The role:

- End-to-end bookkeeping
- BAS preparation & lodgement
- Payroll
- Regular client communication
- Managing your own portfolio of clients

- Working closely with the wider team

What's on offer:

- $85k + super
- Predominantly office-based with flexibility to WFH ~1 day/week
- Open to part-time hours for the right person





What they're looking for:

- Previous bookkeeping experience within Public Practice (essential)
- Strong payroll experience (essential)
- Good client communication skills

- Someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work
- Employment Hero experience would be a big plus (not essential)

Given the collaborative nature of the team, regular office attendance is important - this isn't a fully remote role.
