Join Our Star-Mites Boys Coaching Team in Leederville & Bayswater

Build Skills. Grow Confidence. Inspire the Next Generation. We’re looking for energetic, positive, and enthusiastic coaches to join our team and help us continue growing our boys gymnastics program at Star-Mites Gymnastics.

This role focuses on coaching our boys' programs, from recreational gymnasts learning the basics to our junior competitive boys developing their skills and routines.

You don’t need years of gymnastics coaching experience. If you have a background in gymnastics, sport, fitness, PE, teaching or working with children, and you’re excited about developing young boys through gymnastics, we’d love to hear from you.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to coach boys gymnastics and become part of the future of our boys program.

About the Role

- Coach our recreational boys gymnastics classes
- Work with our junior competitive boys program
- Teach gymnastics skills, strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence
- Help gymnasts progress from beginner recreational skills through to competitive gymnastics
- Primarily afternoon/evening and Saturday shifts
- Work across our Leederville and Bayswater locations
- Receive ongoing training, mentoring and support from our experienced coaching team

Who We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from people who:
- Are enthusiastic about coaching and developing boys gymnastics
- Have a background in gymnastics, sport, fitness, PE, education or similar
- Enjoy working with children and know how to make sport challenging, positive and fun
- Are confident, patient, reliable and bring excellent energy to their coaching
- Are keen to learn and continue developing their coaching skills
- Are 17 years or older
- Have working rights in Australia
- Hold a current Working With Children Check or are willing to obtain one before starting

Previous gymnastics coaching experience is fantastic, but it isn’t essential — we can provide training and accreditation support for the right person.
