As we continue to grow our Data, AI & BI capability, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Project Manager to lead the delivery of impactful technology solutions while building strong client relationships and supporting future growth opportunities.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Capability Manager - Data, AI & BI, the Business Analyst/Project Manager plays a key role in delivering technology, data, and business intelligence projects across COSOL and client environments.

This role combines project leadership, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and team mentoring to successfully deliver complex solutions from initiation through to deployment and support. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives, while also contributing to business development and presales activities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, governance, and project closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management frameworks.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams to achieve successful client outcomes.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with project governance processes, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies,



and resource allocation to maintain delivery performance.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, project reporting, and steering committee updates.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and effective delivery.

Business Development & Client Engagement
- Contribute to business development activities, including opportunity identification, solution shaping, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Support account growth by identifying follow-on opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
- Participate in discovery workshops, presales engagements, and statement of work development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions aligned to client objectives.

Business Analysis & Solution Design
- Analyse and document current-state business processes and technology environments.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture and document business requirements.
- Define and validate project scope with client stakeholders and project sponsors.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for technical delivery teams.
- Act as the key interface between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Solution Delivery & Testing
- Support technical teams through solution design and development activities.
- Coordinate delivery activities and remove project roadblocks to maintain momentum.
- Manage functional testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).




- Oversee solution deployment and transition activities across multiple environments.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business and operational requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Support
- Manage the transition from project delivery through to operational support.
- Ensure technical and functional documentation is complete, accurate, and support-ready.
- Support the management and prioritisation of production issues and enhancement requests.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery and business analysis practices.
- Support bid and proposal activities as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

- 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in a consulting environment with a solid Business Analyst background
- Proven experience delivering technology, data, BI, or consulting projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience supporting business development, presales, account management, or consulting activities.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, PRINCE2, and/or PMBOK.
- Experience leading and mentoring project or delivery team members.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organisational capabilities.

Desirable
- Degree qualification in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile Scrum Master, or equivalent.
- Experience within transport, mining, utilities, energy, infrastructure, or other asset-intensive industries.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing professional services environments.
- Exposure to financial management, budgeting, and project reporting.
