Our client is a leading Australian provider of packaging solutions, with a strong national footprint and significant investment across their manufacturing capabilities. They are looking to bolster their team through the addition of a new Business Development Manager within their Cartonboard and/or Specialities business units.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an energetic, hungry and competitive salesperson who enjoys hunting for new business and building relationships from the ground up. This is a highly autonomous role where you will have the freedom, resources and backing to identify opportunities and turn them into new customers.

The Role:

The Business Development Manager will be a Hunter focused role:

- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the FMCG or Ecommerce markets.
- Build relationships with current customers and key decision makers.
- Lead sales strategies to achieve new business and revenue targets.
- Take ownership of the full sales process from prospecting through to close.
- Leverage the product capability,



marketing resources and manufacturing facilities to win new business.
- Travel interstate as required, predominantly across the Eastern Seaboard.

There are two opportunities available, with the key difference being the market focus. One role will focus on winning new FMCG customers within the Cartonboard division, while the other will target marketing and creative agencies, eCommerce and major brand activations within the Specialties division. Your Background:

- 5 years' New Business experience.
- Proven track record of hunting and winning new customers.
- FMCG, packaging, eCommerce, agency, marketing or related industry experience highly regarded.
- Charismatic and confident communicator who can control a meeting.
- Entrepreneurial, autonomous and comfortable creating your own opportunities.
- Hungry, energetic and motivated to succeed.
