Wormald Security is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Security Sales Professional to drive growth across Canberra and surrounding regions.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Leadership Team, you will play a key role in driving sustainable growth by:

- Developing and expanding relationships with government, commercial, defence, and enterprise customers
- Identifying and securing recent project, service, maintenance, and upgrade opportunities
- Managing strategic customer accounts and key stakeholder relationships
- Leading tenders, proposals, and customer presentations
- Working closely with engineering and project teams to develop tailored solutions
- Contributing to sales strategy and business development initiatives




- Achieving sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and reputation

About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Proven experience selling electronic security solutions
- Strong understanding of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Security, and Integrated Security Systems
- Experience working with Government, Defence, Enterprise, or Tier 1 customers
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Strong ethical disposition and customer centric approach
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders, and proposals
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Security industry knowledge and licensing requirements
- Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain security and AGSVA clearances

Experience with technologies such as Gallagher, Geutebrück, Milestone, Genetec, AXIS, Hanwha, Avigilon, and similar platforms will be highly regarded.
