Lead and grow a portfolio of SME clients as a genuine trusted adviser. You'll run your own patch, back your team, and help shape how the firm grows. This role sits within the Accounting team at Gild, a multi-disciplinary professional services firm with Legal, Wealth, R&D; Incentives & Grants and Marketing under one roof.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and grow a portfolio of SME clients as a genuine trusted adviser
- Manage and mentor a team following the Gild way
- Own your outcomes - the numbers and the relationships behind them
- Loop in Legal, Wealth, R&D; and Marketing when it helps the client
- Help grow the firm - new relationships, referrals, presence in the community
About you
- CA/CPA qualified
- 10 years in public practice, some of it leading a team
- Commercial acumen coupled with a hunger for growth
- Strong technical ability with the ability to communicate the complex clearly and simply (e.g. tax restructuring, CGT advice, employee incentives)
- Solid commercial skills that translate into positive outcomes for clients (e.g. strategic advisory, VCFO)
- You communicate clearly, deliver reliably, and own it when things go sideways
- You want your team to learn and grow as much as you do
