Hills Robes & Kitchens is seeking an experienced subcontract Kitchen & Wardrobe Installer to work with our Adelaide team on an ongoing basis.
This prospect would suit an experienced installer who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates professionally with customers and can complete kitchen, wardrobe and cabinetry installations to a consistently high standard.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Installing kitchens, wardrobes and custom cabinetry across residential and commercial projects
- Reading and interpreting plans, elevations, drawings and specifications
- Completing installations accurately and within scheduled timeframes
- Working independently and, where required, alongside other installers
- Identifying and resolving installation issues as they arise on site
- Liaising with our design, office and production teams
- Communicating professionally with customers while working in their homes
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite
- Representing Hills Robes & Kitchens professionally at all times
About You To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Proven experience in kitchen, wardrobe or cabinetry installation
- Strong cabinet-making and installation knowledge
- Confidence reading plans, elevations and specifications
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- The ability to work independently and manage your allocated jobs
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence
- A current Construction White Card
- Your own suitable vehicle and required installation tools
- A current Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Appropriate public liability insurance
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude A Certificate III in Cabinet Making is preferred; however, highly experienced installers without formal qualifications will also be considered.
