Synergie Australia is looking for a Carpenter for our local government client based in the beautiful Atherton Tablelands region The key parts:

- Location: Atherton (QLD) - daily (Mon - Fri) 6am - 3pm
- Start date: ASAP - 3 month contract with possible extensions and permanency for right person
- Rate: $50.41 p/h plus super - Casual rate
- Must have Australian work rights and be a permanent resident/citizen residing in the Tablelandsarea

What you will be required to do:

- Work in a small team to help with general carpentry requirements of existing and new government buildings, including social housing.
- Maintenance work and upgrading of kitchens, bathrooms and reapir of damage caused by extreme weather events etc To be successful in the role you will:
- Have previous experience working as a carpenter and be physically fit to perform manual roles
- Have a Manual C class license
- Possess minimum Cert III Carpentry
- Have full working rights in Australia,



be a permanent Australian residentand possess your White Card (Construction Card)
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role.
- Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test prior to employment
