Algester Sports Club is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Casual Bar Attendant / Gaming Attendant to join our team.
Algester Sports Club is a family-friendly venue proudly servicing the local community. Our venue operates 7 days a week and features 70 gaming machines, a busy bar, restaurant, TAB and Keno facilities, and late-night trade, with the venue open until 2:00am on Friday and Saturday nights.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a rapid-paced hospitality environment, provides excellent customer service, and is confident working across both bar and gaming operations.
About the Role
Your duties will include
- Providing exceptional customer service to patrons
- Preparing and serving beverages
- Operating gaming machines and TAB facilities
- Processing Keno and TAB transactions
- Handling cash and EFTPOS transactions
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the venue
- Assisting with venue operations during busy periods
- Ensuring compliance with all RSA and RSG requirements
Essential Requirements
- Current RSA and RGS Certificate
- Minimum 1 year hospitality/bar experience
- Previous gaming experience preferred
- Sound TAB and Keno knowledge essential
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays, and late nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Ability to work well within a team environment
