Full-Time Chef & Casual Chef

We are looking for two experienced chefs to join our busy café kitchen in Port Macquarie.

We currently have opportunities for:

- Full-Time Chef – 38–40 hours per week

- Casual Chef – flexible hours, including weekends

We’re looking for reliable, motivated chefs who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in producing consistently great food.

About the Role

You’ll be working as part of an experienced kitchen team in a busy breakfast and lunch setting.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch service

- Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation

- Completing food preparation and mise en place

- Working efficiently during busy service periods

- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

- Following food safety and hygiene procedures

- Assisting with stock rotation and ordering where required

- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience working as a chef in a busy café or restaurant





- Can work confidently during high-volume service

- Is reliable, punctual and organised

- Works well as part of a team

- Has strong attention to detail

- Takes pride in food quality and presentation

- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

- Is available for weekend work

Qualified chefs are preferred; however, experienced cooks with a strong background in café kitchens are also encouraged to apply.
