Casual Food and Beverage Attendant Grade 2 - Paesano Pizza and Pasta

We are looking for a motivated and experienced casual Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Paesano Pizza and Pasta.

Our fast-paced Italian restaurant and takeaway is located in West Hobart. The restaurant seats up to 45 for dinner. We operate Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm to late. We pride ourselves on great cuisine and exceptional customer experiences.

What the role will involve:

- Setting up the restaurant for service and packing down following service periods
- Taking orders in person and over the phone

- Table service
- Processing transactions and cash handling through the POS system and EFTPOS terminals

- Beverage preparation





- Food preparation assistance
- Adherence to our high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Actively learning the menu and product knowledge to a high standard
- Working efficiently, independently and within a team
- Handling customer enquiries and concerns in a professional manner and with a high standard of customer service

Requirements for the role:

- A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate

- Basic barista experience

- Available for immediate start We are looking for someone who is available to work three shifts a week at this stage – Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

Salary: Base rate and loadings follow the Restaurant Industry Award [MA000119], Level 2 Food and Beverage Attendant Grade 2

Pay: $16.93 – $33.85 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 15.0 per week
