Job Description

n
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and field service activities on BESS and associated HV, MV, and LV systems
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using appropriate diagnostic and testing tools
n
- Conduct HV switching activities in accordance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements
n
- Maintain accurate maintenance, switching, permit, and technical records
n
- Identify and address system issues to minimise downtime and optimise performance
n
- Support commissioning activities, including testing, validation, and optimisation of new installations
n
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support secure and efficient operations
n

Requirements

n

n
- Current A-Class Electrician Licence with relevant HV experience
n
- Experience within the energy, renewable energy, engineering, or battery storage sectors
n
- Strong knowledge of HV switching practices and electrical safety standards
n
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving capability in technical environments
n
- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, service manuals, and technical documentation
n
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites
n
- Experience supporting commissioning activities
n
- Experience supervising contractors and coordinating permit-to-work processes
n
- Proficiency with computer-based systems, monitoring platforms, and OEM software
n
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
n




- Ability to work effectively in diverse and inclusive environments
n
- Familiarity with renewable energy, BESS technologies, and relevant industry standards
n
