Serve with purpose. Grow through community.
As a Catering Assistant, you help create a positive experience for the many people who visit our venues each day. You prepare and serve food and beverages, set up kiosks and catering areas, process customer sales, answer enquiries and help keep refreshment areas clean, safe and welcoming. You work as part of the catering team to support daily programs, activities and events across our facilities.
You work in a busy, high-volume environment with more than 1 million visits each year. During peak periods, you prepare food, restock products, rotate stock, check deliveries, complete catering administration and operate point of sale and cash handling systems. You clean tables, empty bins, maintain food safety and hygiene standards, and ensure kitchen and servery equipment is set up, used and stored correctly.
Every interaction makes a difference. Your work helps customers enjoy a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment while supporting the smooth operation of the centre. You work closely with colleagues, follow established procedures and contribute to high standards of customer service and food safety.
Enjoy the flexibility of casual work within a supportive team. You build customer service and food handling skills, receive ongoing training and gain experience across a variety of shifts. If you enjoy working with people,
