Join Our Dynamic Catering Team at Joondalup Health Campus as a Temp Part-time Catering Assistant- Staff Dining Room! Maximum Term Position 12 months

Minimum 30 hours per fortnight

About the Role:

Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will work collaboratively within a fast-paced and rewarding environment. This role is primarily focused on delivering exceptional customer service to staff within the Staff Dining Room, ensuring a welcoming, clean, and efficient dining experience. You will also support the wider catering team as required, including assisting with kitchen operations and meal service. Responsibilities include:

- Providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to staff in the Staff Dining Room.
- Serving meals, snacks, and beverages while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Assisting with meal plating and food presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
- Supporting the delivery of meals and food items throughout the hospital as required.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic food preparation and service environment.
- Assisting with stock replenishment, stock rotation, and compliance with Food Safety Program (FSP) requirements.




- Working collaboratively with catering and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Demonstrating "The Ramsay Way" values through every interaction with staff, patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Key Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience in hospitality, catering, food services, or customer service is desirable.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is highly regarded.
- A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene principles, including HACCP.
- Basic food preparation experience.
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
