St Maur Wines is a family-owned, single-estate wine producer in the NSW Southern Highlands. We are looking for an engaging and organised person to coordinate our cellar door, wine club and day-to-day marketing activities. This hands-on role would suit someone from hospitality, tourism, premium retail, events, customer service or marketing who enjoys working with people and has an interest in wine.
The role
- Welcome cellar door visitors and conduct engaging wine tastings
- Create memorable customer experiences, generate sales and introduce customers to the St Maur Wine Club
- Coordinate memberships, member communications, orders and wine releases
- Create social media, email and website content and respond to online enquiries
- Support wine club events and special tastings
- Process orders and assist with stock control and reporting
- Coordinate casual cellar door staff when required
You will work with St Maur management and external marketing resources to implement an agreed marketing program.
About you
We are looking for someone who offers:
- Solid customer service, communication and organisational skills
- Experience in hospitality,
tourism, retail, events or marketing
- Confidence conducting tastings, speaking with customers and using digital platforms
- An interest in wine and a willingness to develop your knowledge
- A current RSA, driver licence and reliable transport
Previous wine industry experience is desirable but not essential. Applicants must live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Southern Highlands.
Salary and roster
$75,000 plus superannuation. The role requires working both Saturday and Sunday on three weekends out of every four. One full weekend off will be rostered during each four-week cycle, with weekday days off provided when weekends are worked.
Pay: $75,000.00 per year
