MPI works with many of the major underground mining operations across Western Australia. Rather than applying to every site yourself, speak with us. We’ll give you a clear and honest overview of current opportunities - including rates, rosters, and site details - so you can decide if it’s the right move.

All roles are offered on a temp-to-perm basis (3–6 months), starting with high casual rates before transitioning to permanent.

We also can find roles for experienced Charge Up Operators coming from interstate who don’t yet hold a WA Shotfirer’s Licence and are happy covering flights to WA. Please apply to discuss further.

Current opportunities:

- Multiple underground sites across WA
- Rosters: 8/6, 7/7, 2/1, 2/2
- Casual rates: $900 – $1,100 per day (depending on experience)




- Competitive permanent rates with super paid on all hours
- FIFO roles with immediate starts available
- Quick mobilisation and ongoing pipeline of roles.

Requirements:

- Minimum 6 months Charge Up experience (development and/or production)
- Current WA Shotfirer’s Licence + DGSC
- Able to pass pre-employment medical and police check
- Valid Australian working rights.
