Main duties/ Responsibilities
- Preparation/cooking of foods and daily menus
- Oversee quality of preparation and presentation of all food
- Provide example of how to cook foods and what procedures are in place
- Improve food quality and ensure high quality is consistent
- Preservation and freezing of produce
- Check and maintain equipment, tools, utensils, and machineries- report any issues
- Any other duties as directed by the head chef and restaurant manager
- Maintain occupational hygiene, health and safety regulations and any other applicable laws The Successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Strong work ethics, commitment to learn and further your cooking skills.
Work well under pressure in a high volume a la carte restaurant.
Challenge driven with a robust passion for continued learning.
