Build your own school-hours business with Happy Feet Fitness!

Imagine spending your school days singing, dancing, telling stories, performing magic and inspiring young children through movement and imagination.

Happy Feet Fitness is looking for a mature, energetic and business-minded person to join our Perth South team as an independent contractor, delivering our play-based movement program to babies, toddlers and preschoolers in early childhood centres.

You'll help children build confidence, coordination and a lifelong love of movement while building a rewarding business around school hours.

This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position. You'll be responsible for growing your own timetable and business, with training, mentoring and support from an experienced local manager and the wider Happy Feet team.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different! You'll visit early childhood centres during school hours to deliver fun, high-energy 30-minute classes featuring:

- Music, movement and dance
- Magic, puppets and exciting props
- Imaginative storytelling and adventures
- Games, fitness and fundamental movement skills
- Play-based learning that supports children's development

One class might involve exploring outer space, while the next takes children on a dinosaur adventure or an under-the-sea expedition.

If you enjoy performing, using your imagination and making young children laugh and feel confident, you'll love what we do.

The Business Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to step into an existing Happy Feet territory and make it your own.

You'll begin by taking over a small number of established classes from an experienced Happy Feet Instructor across:

Baldivis | Karnup | Meadow Springs | Erskine | Wannanup

You'll then work alongside our experienced Perth South Manager to grow your own regular timetable across the Rockingham–Mandurah area.

We already have new centre enquiries, established centre relationships and further growth opportunities in the area, giving you a strong foundation to build from.

The longer-term opportunity is to grow towards 15 regular classes per week across 4–5 weekdays during school hours.





You'll be supported by your manager as you identify opportunities, build relationships with centres and develop your timetable — but you'll be the person building and running your own business.

Availability To take over the existing classes and make the most of the current opportunities, you'll need to be available:

- Monday
- Wednesday
- Thursday
- One additional weekday

All classes are delivered during school hours, with no evenings required.

Income

As an independent contractor, you'll operate your own Happy Feet Fitness business under licence.

- Earn approximately $50–$200 per 30-minute class after licensing fees
- Grow your income as your regular timetable grows
- Start with existing classes while developing additional opportunities
- Receive comprehensive training, mentoring and ongoing support

As with any self-employed business, your income will depend on the number of classes you establish and deliver.

Previous experience in dance, fitness, education, childcare, performing arts, music or children's entertainment is welcome. We're particularly interested in your personality, reliability and ability to connect with young children and centre teams.
