The Role
As the CIAM Service Manager, you will lead a high-performing operations team responsible for ensuring the reliability, stability, and performance of a large-scale Consumer Identity and Access Management platform. You will oversee operational activities, incident management, platform monitoring, releases, and continuous improvement initiatives while providing technical leadership across CIAM technologies and processes.
You will play a key role in strengthening service delivery, driving automation, improving operational processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless outcomes for end users.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a CIAM Operations team to deliver high-quality service outcomes
- Monitor platform performance and ensure operational reliability and stability
- Manage releases, incidents, problem investigations, and root cause analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including automation and process optimization
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and support documentation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to resolve complex issues
- Improve observability, monitoring, and operational reporting capabilities
- Support the ongoing enhancement of identity and access management services
- Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), identity federation, authentication and authorization flows
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing operational support teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proven stakeholder engagement and collaboration capabilities
- Experience developing and maintaining operational processes and documentation
- Understanding of token lifecycle management and CIAM operational practices
- Positive commitment to supporting diverse communities and inclusive service delivery
Highly Regarded
- Experience supporting high-volume, externally facing digital platforms
- Experience with SaaS and cloud-hosted identity services
- Experience using observability and log analytics tools
- Knowledge of APIs, REST services, JSON, certificates, secrets management, and integration troubleshooting
- Experience within large government or enterprise environments
