About the role The technical department, consisting of a team of engineers and designers, works closely with the sales department and directly with customers to find the best solution for the customer. When selling scaffolding systems, it is essential to present the possibilities of the system using customised solutions. To do this,
the latest digital technologies are used to design scaffolding solutions in 3D and present them clearly to the customer.
The aim is to select the systems and products from Layher's existing product portfolio that can be used to realise the customer's requirements most efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Development of efficient scaffolding solutions with the existing product portfolio based on customer requirements and in compliance with local standards and regulations.
- Static calculation.
- Structural Analysis using company software when required (RStab / Robot)
- Produce 3D Scaffolding Models and pdfs
About you
- Graduated Civil Engineer.
- At least 3-5 years work experience with Layher Scaffolding.
- Must be able to work on site full-time 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.
- Exceptionally good understanding of static calculation of steel structures or scaffolding.
- Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and structural analysis software.
- Passion in finding solutions.
- Customer focused with solid verbal and written communication skills.
