We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Educator to work for an excellent not for profit organization, providing clinical support and guidance to a team of 10 Clinicians, including students and new graduates, who work with youth and young people in the Mental Health area. This role would work closely with the Clinical Lead and other team members and be a part-time role – 2 days per week.

About The Role

- Part Time – 2 days per week

- Located in Ashfield in the Inner West

- Work for a large not for profit organisation

- Salary from $100K-105K, plus super and salary packaging benefits
- The role is currently until the end of January 2027 with the potential for extension

- No direct reports

- Looking for an AHPRA registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or a Mental Health Nurse with general registration, or a Social Worker with AASW Registration

This organisation run a leading national program focussed on the mental health of young people. They have run this service for a number of years and also have a number of other programs and projects that they run in the community, supporting those in need.

Duties

- Establish and maintain robust positive working relationships with students, graduates, team members and other key stakeholders so that customers receive safe and high-quality care





- Support the onboarding and induction of workers in customer-facing roles, including students and graduates

- Provide clinical and field supervision to students and graduates to assist them in meeting the needs of customers

- Provide support and clinical guidance and ensure graduates and students are working within the clinical governance framework and their respective scope of practice

- Monitor the learning needs and professional development of workers, students, and graduates and provide or source training to meet these needs

- Assess and evaluate learning outcomes against assessed needs and expectations, including the review of the effectiveness of any supports provided

- Develop new training packages and review the effectiveness and content of existing training packages to ensure they align with industry standards and current best practice

On offer

- Base Salary of $100-105k plus super and salary packaging, dependent on experience

- Flexible work arrangements

Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or other relevant field with AHPRA registration or other registration in place

- Experience working with youth and young people in the mental health area
