VR General Practitioners – Urgent Care & General Practice Smithfield Central Urgent Care & Medical Centre

We are currently seeking VR General Practitioners to join our new Urgent Care Centre in Smithfield.

We offer both ongoing rostered shifts and casual/ad hoc opportunities, with versatile full- and half-shift options available.

Smithfield Central Urgent Care is part of Partnered Health Medical Centres and operates within a large, purpose-built, modern medical hub. Our centre provides high-quality urgent care alongside an established general practice, within a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.
What We Offer

- Full- and half-shift options
- Clinic hours: 8:00am–10:00pm
- Monday–Friday before 6:00pm: $250/hour
- Monday–Friday after 6:00pm: $275/hour




- Weekends: $300/hour
- Public holidays: $325/hour
- Fast-paced urgent care environment
- Onsite pharmacy
- Triage nurse and treatment nurse
- Reception and onsite management
- Strong nursing and administrative support
- Typically paired GP or Nurse Practitioner coverage during shifts

Essential Criteria
- Fellowship with RACGP (FRACGP/FARGP) or ACRRM (FACRRM)
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current ALS certification
- Confidence in suturing and plastering
- An interest in urgent care medicine
