Anila Recruitment is supporting the recruitment of an experienced OOSH Manager for a new service in Narellan. This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic OOSH leader to take ownership of a new service, lead a new team and help create a fun, secure and engaging environment for primary-aged children from the beginning.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operation of the service across Before School Care, After School Care and administration, while building strong relationships with children, families, educators, the school and wider community.
The organisation is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic leader who can confidently manage a busy OOSH setting while bringing energy, creativity and a genuine passion for working with children.
Role Details:
- Permanent full-time OOSH Manager position
- 38 hours per week
- Leadership responsibility without Nominated Supervisor responsibilities
- Service hours: Before School Care 6:30am–9:00am and After School Care 2:00pm–6:30pm
- Flexible admin hours that can be completed across 1–5 days
- Ability to work from home during admin hours
- Lead and support a team of educators
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of a new OOSH service
- Develop and deliver engaging programs and activities for primary-aged children
- Maintain strong compliance and child safety standards
- Build positive relationships with families, the school and wider community
About You:
- Previous experience in an OOSH leadership role such as OOSH Manager, Coordinator, Director, Nominated Supervisor,
2IC or Assistant Coordinator
- A natural and confident leader who enjoys working with children
- Strong communication skills with children, families, educators and school leadership
- Confident working in a fast-paced OOSH environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Passionate about creating fun and enriching experiences for primary-aged children
- Energetic, enthusiastic and approachable
- Diploma-level qualification or currently working towards a relevant qualification, in line with ACECQA requirements
- Current WWCC and relevant First Aid/CPR certifications
- Willingness to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training prior to commencing
