Join an established Australian healthcare supply business that distributes essential medical equipment and products to hospitals, clinics and healthcare providers nationwide.
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller for its Wilawong distribution facility. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of inventory accuracy, enjoys solving stock issues and is looking for stable, long-term employment with consistent hours.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor incoming and outgoing stock and maintain accurate system and physical inventory records
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly
- Conduct regular cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory audits
- Identify missing, damaged, incorrectly located or incorrectly recorded stock
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment when stock reaches reorder points
- Assist with purchase orders and liaise with relevant suppliers and internal teams
- Maintain appropriate stock levels to minimise shortages, excess inventory and storage costs
- Support warehouse operations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure inventory procedures and workplace safety requirements are followed
What we’re looking for
- Previous inventory control experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Sound knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Experience with Manhattan WMS is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and confidence investigating discrepancies
- Good computer, numerical and record-keeping skills
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Explicit communication and a cooperative, team-focused attitude
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of a warehouse role
- LF forklift licence is advantageous but not essential
- Own reliable vehicle and transport, as the shift begins at 5:00 am
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check
- Willingness to participate in random onsite drug and alcohol testing
- Unrestricted Australian working rights—student and working holiday visa holders cannot be considered for this position
