In this role, you'll:

Sydney Metro is seeking a Commercial Officer to deliver high-level business support and ensure the efficient functioning of the commercial team.

This role provides contract management support across the commercial team as required, including assisting in the delivery of major infrastructure projects by administering complex payments under a PPP contract, providing contract management support (including claims/disputes), procurement, financial management, reporting, register management, daily Teambinder administration, drafting relevant change control procedure papers, modification notices and briefing notes. It is suited to individuals looking to gain valuable working experience on a major infrastructure project.

Position will be fixed term full-time ending 30 June 2028.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- demonstrated administration experience with high level attention to detail and the capacity to complete several tasks concurrently, ideally within a contract administration setting




- demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and be responsible and accountable to complete tasks
- demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and political sensitivity in liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- experience or a background in project management, engineering, finance, business, or law would be beneficial but not necessary
