About the role

Manage an active caseload, delivering individual and group interventions that respond to the needs, goals and identified risks of service users and their communities. Develop and implement community engagement strategies that raise awareness of AOD-related risks, available supports and harm reduction. This role facilitates community forums and engagement activities that respond to local needs and priorities and works to build community capacity, participation and resilience by supporting community-led approaches, partnerships and initiatives that reduce stigma, strengthen connections and improve access to support.

About you

You will bring experience supporting service users in residential settings, along with a robust understanding of evidence-based alcohol and other drug therapeutic interventions across both individual and group settings. You will be confident working with people experiencing complex and high-risk challenges and have the cultural awareness to build meaningful connections across diverse communities.

We’re looking for someone who is innovative, flexible and comfortable working autonomously, with a genuine passion for making a difference. You’re motivated to connect with communities, build trust and help people access the support they need.

Your key experience will include:

- Relevant bachelor’s degree is preferred




- Excellent communication, engagement and collaboration skills both written and verbally
- Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
