Community Wellbeing Administration Lead

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Community Wellbeing Administration Lead to oversee the administration of our highly regarded Immunisation Service and support the delivery of essential public health programs to our community. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative leader who enjoys improving systems, supporting people and ensuring services run efficiently and effectively.

About the Role

Reporting to the Community Wellbeing Senior Coordinator, you will lead a small administration team responsible for supporting Council's Immunisation Service. You'll play a key role in coordinating vaccination programs, managing service administration, overseeing systems and processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and public health requirements.

Working closely with nurses, Maternal and Child Health teams, schools, community groups and government agencies, you'll help deliver high-quality services that support the health and wellbeing of Boroondara residents.

Key responsibilities include~

- Leading the day-to-day administration of Council's Immunisation Service.
- Coordinating school, community, workplace and staff vaccination programs.
- Overseeing rostering, service systems, reporting and data quality.
- Managing contracts, procurement processes and budget monitoring.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and service innovation.
- Leading and developing a high-performing administration team.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contributing to public health emergency preparedness and response activities.





About You You are an organised and proactive people leader with strong administrative and operational management skills. You enjoy improving processes, solving problems and working collaboratively in a agile environment.

- Demonstrated experience leading and supervising a team.
- Strong organisational and administrative management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience managing budgets, systems and operational processes.
- The ability to interpret legislation, guidelines and policy requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A commitment to quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
- Experience within community health, public health, local government or a similar service environment will be highly regarded.
