About the Role
Reporting to the National Compliance Manager, the Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in supporting compliance assurance across Strait Link operations. Working closely with site leaders and operational teams, you will assist with audits, inspections, training, investigations and documentation management to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, customer and company requirements.
You will help maintain compliance across transport, warehousing, dangerous goods, food safety, quality, security and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations, while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, review and maintenance of compliance, quality and operational documentation.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections and compliance verification activities across operational sites.
- Maintain compliance records, registers and reporting requirements.
- Assist operational teams in preparing for customer, regulatory and certification audits.
- Support compliance investigations,
incident reviews and corrective action processes.
- Coordinate compliance training, refresher programs and awareness initiatives.
- Monitor and follow up compliance actions to ensure timely completion.
- Build strong working relationships with site management and operational teams to support compliance outcomes.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You are highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining high standards of compliance and quality. You enjoy working with people across different functions and are confident balancing administrative responsibilities with operational engagement.
Essential
- Experience in a compliance, quality, safety, administration or operational support role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the business.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and Chain of Responsibility principles.
- Exposure to Dangerous Goods, HACCP, food safety or quality management systems.
- Experience within transport, logistics,
warehousing, shipping or supply chain environments.
- Internal auditing or compliance monitoring experience.
