The Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee the site-based construction program for this major mining development.

The Construction Manager will be responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of the project’s construction activities. The role will lead site construction teams and coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure works are completed in accordance with the approved scope, schedule, budget, quality and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities will include construction planning and execution, contractor management, site coordination, progress monitoring, cost and schedule control and the effective management of construction interfaces with stakeholders.

About You

You will be an accomplished Construction Manager with extensive experience delivering major mining, mineral processing or related resources projects.

Requirements

- Significant experience managing construction activities on large-scale mining or mineral processing projects.

- Prior experience working on projects of comparable scale and complexity.

- Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline.

- Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary construction, including, civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation works.

- A demonstrated commitment to high standards of health, safety,



environment and quality.

- Proven experience managing contractors, subcontractors, consultants and site-based teams.

- Strong construction planning, scheduling, cost control and reporting capabilities.

- Sound commercial and contractual knowledge, including the management of variations, claims and contractor performance management

- Experience coordinating construction interfaces with engineering, procurement, commissioning and operations

- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Western Australian mining project experience is essential.

Location

This position will require regular travel to the company’s project site in Western Australia.
