About the role The role is videography, video editing and photography and your time will be split equally amongst these three main responsibilities. You'll shoot and edit the video and conduct the photography that brings our products to life — from studio product shots and how-to demos through to customer stories filmed on site. This is an end-to-end role: you'll plan the shoot, run the camera, and cut the final edit.

You'll work closely with marketing, product and sales, and report to the Content Lead.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, shoot and edit video content — product demos, assembly and how-to guides, customer testimonials, brand and recruitment films

- Shoot product photography in-studio and on location, including detail, in-situ and lifestyle imagery

- Cut content to suit each channel — long-form for YouTube and the website, short-form vertical for social, and cutdowns for paid campaigns

- Execute the full production process: concept, scripting, shot lists, scheduling, filming, editing, grading, audio and delivery

- Set up and operate camera, lighting and audio equipment, and keep the kit maintained and shoot-ready

- Work with the R&D; team and Product Lead to understand features and benefits, and translate them into content that demonstrates them clearly

- Manage the media library — file naming, versioning, archiving and backups — so assets are easy to find and reuse

- Coordinate shoots involving staff, customers and suppliers, including site visits and warehouse filming

- Track content performance with the Marketing team and use what you learn to shape the next round

- Juggle multiple productions at once and keep them moving to deadline

About you





- 3-5 years' experience in video production and photography, in-house or agency side

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in lieu

- Strong editing skills in Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Lightroom

- Confident camera operator – video and photo - with a solid grasp of lighting, audio capture and colour grading
- A showreel and photography portfolio demonstrating commercial work you shot and edited yourself
- An understanding of what performs on social and how to shoot with the final format in mind

- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly with product accuracy and brand consistency

- Comfortable working in a warehouse or industrial setting and directing people who aren't used to being on camera

- Self-starter who can take a brief, ask the right questions and run with it

- Current driver's licence — some shoots are off site
