Details: The National Arboretum Canberra and Stromlo Forest Park are seeking a creative and motivated Content and Digital Marketing Officer to join our team.

You will develop and deliver marketing, communications, content and design across two of the ACT's premier visitor destinations. Working across events, recreation, education, tourism and environmental initiatives, you will create engaging content, manage digital channels, deliver campaigns, and use visitor and engagement data to measure success and inform decision-making.

As part of a small, collaborative team, you will help promote events, visitor experiences and strategic projects, strengthening community engagement and growing awareness of these unique destinations.

The successful candidate will bring digital marketing, graphic design and content creation experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyse data and feedback to improve outcomes. You will be proactive, innovative and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role may include supervision of staff, depending on operational requirements.

Help tell the stories of two iconic destinations at the intersection of conservation, recreation, tourism and community engagement.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

- Current First Aid Certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
- Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. For further information on Working with Vulnerable People registration refer to - Apply for or renew a WWVP registration - Access Canberra (act.gov.au)
- A current driver's license is desirable.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until end of January 2027 with the possibility of extension up to six months. This position is part-time at 15:00 hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
