Build five brands. Create content worth watching.

We're looking for an experienced Creative Content Producer to take ownership of content and social media across a portfolio of five growing Melbourne brands spanning automotive, industrial services, vehicle detailing and creative media.

This is a full-time, hands-on role for someone who can combine professional photography and videography with solid editing, social media strategy and performance analysis.

With a salary of $90,000–$100,000 + super, we're looking for someone experienced, autonomous and ready to bring ideas to the table — not someone who waits to be told what to post.

This isn't an entry-level social media role. We're looking for someone with genuine professional production skills who is equally comfortable behind a qualified camera, in an editing suite and inside the analytics that inform what we create next.

We're looking for a hands-on creative who can walk into a workshop, job site or event, recognise the story in front of them, capture it professionally and turn it into content people actually want to watch.

You'll have considerable creative freedom and the opportunity to genuinely shape how our brands are seen.

The Opportunity

You'll work across a portfolio of five brands, each with its own audience, personality and content opportunities.

The businesses span

- Automotive paint and panel, restoration and performance

- Dry ice blasting and cleaning

- Classic, prestige and enthusiast vehicles

- Premium vehicle detailing and presentation

- Photography, videography and creative media

One day you might be filming a dry ice blasting transformation.

The next could involve shooting a classic Porsche, capturing a detailing transformation, interviewing someone in the workshop or producing content around an event.

There's already a substantial library of photography and video accumulated over several years, along with a constant stream of new projects and opportunities waiting to be captured.

Your job will be to turn all of that into a professional, consistent and effective content operation.

What You'll Be Responsible For

You'll take ownership of the content process from idea through to publication and performance analysis.

This will include

- Developing content strategies for each brand

- Building and managing content calendars

- Identifying stories and content opportunities within the businesses

- Professional photography and videography

- Shooting on professional camera systems

- Operating gimbals, lighting and audio equipment

- Editing short-form and longer-form video

- Colour grading and photo editing

- Producing Reels and other platform-native content

- Writing captions and developing creative concepts

- Publishing and scheduling content across social platforms

- Monitoring social channels, community engagement and identifying opportunities to interact with our audiences

- Managing and organising our existing photo and video library

- Repurposing existing content into new formats

- Monitoring social trends and identifying relevant opportunities

- Reviewing social media analytics and content performance

- Understanding what's working, what isn't and why

- Testing different creative approaches, hooks and formats

- Tracking performance across each brand and providing clear, practical reporting on what's driving reach, engagement and enquiries

- Providing clear recommendations based on performance

- Helping develop campaigns, launches and promotions

- Continually improving the quality and effectiveness of our content

Facebook and Instagram are currently our primary platforms, but we want someone capable of identifying where other platforms — including TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn — make sense for individual brands.

We Want Someone Who Can Lead This Function

We know our businesses.

We know our customers.

And we have no shortage of interesting things to film.

What we're looking for is someone who understands content and social media better than we do.

We don't want to hand you a list of posts to make every Monday morning.

We want you to look at what we're currently doing, understand our businesses and audiences, identify the opportunities we're missing and help us become significantly better.

You should be comfortable telling us:

"This is working. Let's do more of it."

And equally

"This isn't working. Here's what I think we should try instead."

We're looking for someone who won't simply create content — you'll help shape how our brands are seen.

What You'll Bring

You'll already have several years of professional experience creating high-quality commercial or brand content, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong photography, videography and editing capability.

You'll be confident with

- Professional camera systems

- Photography and videography

- Composition, exposure and lighting

- Gimbals and stabilisation

- Professional audio capture

- Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent professional editing software

- Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom

- Graphic creation using Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Canva

- Social media publishing and scheduling tools

- Instagram and Facebook

- Social media analytics and performance reporting

You should understand the fundamentals behind successful social content — hooks, retention, watch time, reach, engagement, audience behaviour and how content gets distributed beyond an existing follower base.

We're not expecting every piece of content to go viral.

We are expecting you to understand why one piece of content performs better than another and use that information to continually improve what we produce.

Bonus Points

Experience with any of the following would be highly regarded:

- Automotive photography or videography

- Motorsport or enthusiast vehicle content

- Industrial or trade-based content

- Drone photography/videography and relevant accreditation (we currently operate under a ReOC)

- YouTube production

- Paid Meta advertising

- Copywriting

- Graphic design

- Website content

- Email marketing

An interest in cars certainly won't hurt either.

The Person We're Looking For

You're creative, but you're also organised.

You're technically capable, but you understand that expensive cameras don't automatically make good content.

You're comfortable working independently and taking ownership.

You notice stories other people walk straight past.

You understand the difference between content that simply looks polished and content that people actually stop to watch.

You're curious about why something worked, you keep up with changes in social platforms and audience behaviour, and you're willing to test ideas rather than simply repeat what's always been done.

And when you see an opportunity, your instinct is to grab the camera — not wait for someone to tell you to.

What Success Looks Like In your first few months, we'd expect you to:

- Learn the personality, audience and objectives of each brand

- Audit our existing social media presence

- Organise and catalogue our existing content library

- Identify immediate opportunities and quick wins

- Establish a consistent publishing schedule

- Develop recurring content concepts for each brand

- Capture fresh professional content every week

- Build forward content calendars

- Establish baseline performance metrics

- Report on what's working and what isn't

- Recommend how we can continually improve

Over time, success means our brands become more visible, more engaging and better recognised — while the content function becomes something you own rather than something the directors need to continually drive.

What We Offer

- $90,000–$100,000 + super, depending on experience

- Full-time position

- Genuine creative ownership

- Variety across five very different brands

- Access to interesting projects, vehicles, locations and people

- Professional equipment and support for the tools required to do great work

- Opportunity to influence the direction of our brands
- A substantial existing content library to work with

- Freedom to experiment, test ideas and improve
- The opportunity to build the content function rather than simply inherit someone else's system

- Scope for the position to grow as our businesses continue to grow

Show Us Your Work

Your portfolio matters more to us than a beautifully written cover letter.

When applying, please include:

- Your résumé
- A link to your portfolio or showreel

- Examples of photography and video work

- Links to brands or social accounts you've created content for or managed

- Three pieces of work you're particularly proud of

And tell us briefly

What camera equipment and editing software do you normally work with?

If you joined us tomorrow, what would you want to understand about our businesses before developing a content strategy?

Applications without examples of previous work will not be considered.

If you're an experienced content producer looking for more creative freedom, more variety and the opportunity to genuinely shape a portfolio of growing brands, we'd like to hear from you.
