Our client is a global leader in their industry, with more than 50 years of success delivering world-class products and services to customers around the world. With the Australian business continuing to grow, they are seeking an experienced Credit / Accounts Receivable professional to join their finance team on a 4-5 month temporary assignment, based in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone with strong AR experience, a customer-focused approach and a genuine interest in joining a successful, growing business.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the AR Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Following up slow-paying customers and taking appropriate corrective action.
- Processing customer invoices and credit notes.
- Matching customer remittances to bank statements and customer accounts.
- Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Conducting credit checks and maintaining customer profiles and credit limits within the ERP system.
- Managing customer account enquiries, disputes and discrepancies through to resolution.
- Liaising closely with Customer Service and Account Managers.
- Identifying opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes.




- Supporting the wider finance team with additional duties as required.

About You You will be a reliable and proactive finance professional who takes pride in delivering accurate work and providing a high level of customer service.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive approach with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Good Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
- A strong sense of integrity, dependability and professionalism.
