We’re looking for a hands-on Customer Care Team Leader to lead, coach and develop our growing customer care team. You’ll regularly work Monday–Friday with a consistent Saturday rotation.
What you’ll do
- Lead and coach a team of 8 part-time customer care staff, staying closely involved in day-to-day service delivery
- Provide hands-on support with customer enquiries and help the team when needed
- Improve customer interactions and streamline processes to deliver compassionate, consistent support
- Coordinate people, optimise training and systems, helping the team embrace new ways of working and achieve shared goals
About you
- 2 years' experience in a team lead or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and people management skills — you lead by example
- Confident using technology, improving systems and drawing on data to guide decisions
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently
- Organised,
accountable and focused on results
- Motivated to support families with empathy during emotionally difficult times
- A outstanding cultural fit — you love having a laugh and working together to achieve results
Skills and experience
We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds and with varied experience. You may come from the veterinary industry, a contact center or a customer support team and be ready to bring your leadership skills to meaningful work.
We encourage practice managers, clinic coordinators and other veterinary professionals to apply, particularly those looking to move beyond a clinic while continuing to support pets and their families.
You'll be working across HubSpot, Aircall and our internal admin platform, so familiarity with CRM and helpdesk tools is a plus.
