Multicam Routing Systems is the largest supplier of CNC routing machinery in Australia. We require a well presented and highly motivated person to be based at our Newcastle Office based in Beresfield, NSW.

We are seeking a reliable, organised Customer Service and Stock Control Officer to join our team. This is a varied role combining internal sales, customer service, invoicing, stock control and order fulfilment.

The successful applicant will help ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently—from initial enquiry through to packing, freight and delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
- Provide product information, pricing and availability
- Prepare quotations and process tooling sales
- Enter and maintain customer orders in the company system
- Prepare invoices, credit notes and related documentation
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
- Receive, check and store incoming stock
- Pick, pack and label customer orders accurately
- Arrange freight and coordinate deliveries with carriers
- Follow up on back orders, deliveries and customer queries
- Liaise with suppliers, freight companies and internal staff
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
- Follow company procedures, workplace health and safety requirements, and quality standards
- Perform other general sales, administration and warehouse duties as required

About you





You will ideally have:

- Experience in internal sales, customer service, administration, warehousing or logistics
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills
- Valuable telephone and written communication skills
- Experience with invoicing, stock control or order processing
- The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- A practical, hands-on approach to packing and dispatch
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new software
- A professional and friendly manner
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Experience in tooling, engineering supplies, manufacturing, hardware or a related industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
